Bringing Books to Life
with Terri Scullin
In this workshop participants will be introduced to several hands
on lessons that use music and/or drama to enhance students' experiences
with a variety of literature. Activities will be geared for use
by music teachers as well as any one who shares literature with
children, no prior music or drama training required.

Boomerang Jam
with Susie Davies-Splitter and Phil Splitter from
Australia
Inspire, excite and motivate children to remember, understand,
and love music. Discover new material through speech, song, body
percussion, dance, movement and percussion instruments with a
focus on improvisation and creative input for 4-12 year olds.

No Child Left on His or Her Behind
with Sanna Longden
Enjoy folk dances and music games from around the world, with
an emphasis on curriculum connections and holidays, as well as
traditional music, ethnic styling, cultural background, and teaching
tips. Session highlights the "Making Music" textbook
series, published by Silver Burdett/Pearson Scott Foresman, co-sponsor
of the workshop. Wear cool and comfortable clothes and please
avoid wearing scented toiletries and cosmetics for this active
and fun session.

You Gotta Love It!
with Randy Delelles & Jeff Kriske
Children learn best when they love what they are doing, and what's
more joyful than Orff Schulwerk? This workshop will include kid-tested
activities for a variety of grade levels that we love, children
love, and you'll love, too!

ICCAOSA Individual Membership
Local annual membership (July - June) is $50 ($25 for full-time students) and includes four workshops, Orbiting Orff instrument loans, and our newsletters. Onsite registration for any one workshop is $25.
AOSA National Membership
Dues are $70 (in addition to ICCAOSA dues). Members may attend annual conventions, receive quarterly journals, and access a professional video library.
School District Membership
Allows any staff member within a school district to attend all workshops with no fee. |
